Our local Seed Savers group provided this recipe to utilise Bunya Nuts from the Bunya Pine (Araucaria bidwillii - Wikipedia).
As you can see these are very large trees and too pig for our acre of food forest. This one is growing in Sintra, Portugal is around 150 years old.I imagine when the tree is dropping its large cones the area is fenced off.
